Tiik Mtiil Steamer M-uiowai with the English and American mails arrive I about 10.30 a.m. to day from Frisco one day behind time-table' date. The muse of her delay was that she encountered s-trong south-west gale villi leavy seas between ' Prison and Honolulu. She brings 31 sa'oon passengers for Auckland and'-24 for Sydney. Amongst those for Auckland are Mr and Mrs,l. L. Wilson, and Mr.l. M. Wilson of this city, who have relumed from their trip to England. Professor Shtiiun was also a passenger. The length of the passage, ineluding stoppages was '2odys IShr.s ISmiii!" The Monowai continues her voyage to Sydney at midnight
