THE GLENBROOK MYSTERY.
Tub Glenbrook mystery is deepening. A third man named Leslie is now reported to he missing. The New .South Wales Government have offered a reward of €lO3 for a clue. The police are scouring the mountains iu the endeavour to find the remains of the missing men. During the -search of a disnsed shaft Detective McLean had a thrilling rxpeiience. Two men lowered him, and when he encountered a large snake at the hottom they were unable to haul him up, and the detective p.sscd si had live minutes hefoie extra help was secured and he was hauled safely to the top. Frestou is the name of the second missing man. He was a student of ni'neralogy at Sydn-y University. Portions of his clothing have been found at Linden, and the police theory is that Weller was made away with at Glenbrook and Preston at Linden. The country round about is very wi'd. A man, named Harwood or Butler, is " wanted' ; in eoiinoetiin with the affair. A similar advertisement win inserted in the Newcastle papers, but the lepb'es were never eallod for.
