The first business was the appointment ot a chairman, and Mr Teasdalo proposed that Mr Dey should occury the chair for the ensuing year.— Mr Allen seconded the motion.—Mr Dey declined to supplant. I have been constantly treated by him with marked discourtesy. 1 have; done my best to work amicably with him, but all overtures have been rejected : but in spite of his uncalled for behaviour I have always willingly and immediately assisted at the hospital when required. I hope you will believe that it is with extreme regret that 1, at last, bring this matter before you. I personally have nothing to gain from yo:r house surgeon's goodwill, but it appear-! to me that it is to the interest of the hospital that the present, state of affairs; should be put at an end.— Several of the members considered that l)r lirowis was quite justified in making the extra charge as tnere was no doubt he was made a convenience of. — Mr Teasdalo said Dr Kenny was treating Dr Brewis in a most unfair manner and if this s-ort of thing went on they soon might have to consider the appointment of his successor. They could easily get a, good man for £'>oo a year and Dr Brewis held much higher diplomas than Dr Kenny. —Mr Seddou proposed and Mr Furze seconded that Dr Brewis' account be passed for payment and that Dr Kenny's attention be called to the fact that the Board was paying double for the work.—This was carried, Mr Teasdu'e being the nn'y dissenter.
