CRICKET.

A niKi.TiNi; of d.'legates of the Waipa Cricket Association was held in Mr Delancy's Hotel. Ohaupo, on Thursday evening. The following clubs were represented : Hamilton, T. Buxton and B. Ilousley : Te Aw.imulu, Blackett and Singleton -, Kihikihi, E, Aubiu and I'. Delancy : Tuhik uanie.a, N. Reid and (.'. Stephens. Mr Blackett was voted to the chair.

J'he minutes of last, meeting were read by the secretary (Mr Buxton), but as tiny were the minutes of the annual meeting they could only be passed at the next annual meeting. A letter was received from the Secretary of the Tararu Club expressing a wish to come up and play the Waipa teams during the Christmas holidays.

After considerable discussion the following arrangements wore made : Hamilton v. Tararu at Hamilton Decern - ber 2Stb ; Tin urn v. Taupiri at Taupiri, December 2!h.h ; Tararu v. Tuhika-ainca at Tuhikaramca, December 30th ; Tararu v. Te Awanuitu at To Awamntti, December 31st ; a combined Waikato team v. Tararu at Hamilton, January 2nd.

The Secretary was authorised to write to the Secretary of the Tararu Club acquainting him with the above fixtures. It was decided that the match between Tuhikaramca and Kihikihi be played at Alexandra, December 10th. The rules and regulations of the Waipa Ciicket Association were then read over (-12 clauses) and considered, and with a lew slight modifications were adopted.

It was agreed to have the rules printed in book form, a number of copies to be sent to each club, and the matter Wits bit in the hands of the Secretary.

Colours to be registered: Hamilton, blue and gold ; Tuhikaramca, dark blue and white ; Te Awamutu, cardinal and w bite ; Taupii i. maiooii.

It was decided the match committee consist of live, one from each club, as follows : -Hamilton, Mr T. Buxton ; Te Awamutu. Mr Singleton ; Tuhikaramca, Mr C. Stephens ; Taupiri, E. li. Cox ; Kihikihi to be arranged, three to form a quoi 111)1. A vote of thanks to the chair concluded the meeting.
