Mkssbs Arthur Toomajj and Co.'s MARKET RKroKT. —During the week a large business has bo; n done in fruit and dairy produce, the former in good supply, with equal demand. The latter was in supply considerably under requirements, in farm produce but little was done ; old potatoes, bacon, and old season's cheese were very hard to shift, even at low values. Grain is unchanged, with the exception of maize, which is a shade firmer, due to the temporary small supply. Fodder is dull, carrots in particular. New potatoes command good valuas. Kggs are in very .strong demand, as is also prime butter, botli fresh and salted. Poultry still scarce at Ifigh values. Pigs and pork sold well.
