News has been received that the natives of the Solomon Islands have massacred Bnroti Foullono, a. noted scientist, also Midshipman Deßauford, and two bluejackets belonginging to the German man-of-war Albatross, and a native guide. Four other sailors were seriously wounded and two slightly. The Baron was leading a scientific expemlition, and landed at the island of Guadalcanal where the natives attached and speared the party. Baron Foullono, Yon Norbcck, and party were exploring the interior of the island at, the time. Mr Woodford headed the expedition which brought bade the wounded A second expedition failed to recover tho dead bodies. The warship Pyladcs has gone to the ssene.
