Situation : An anti-cyclone in the Tasman Sea is expected to drift eastwards on to New Zealand on Thursday or Friday. A weakening coid front in a westerly flow are expected to skirt southern New Zealand. A trough to the Northeast of the country should maintain a southeast flow over northern and central New Zealand until Wednesday or Thursday. Forecast: Mainly fine but fresh southeasterlies at times __until Thursday, bringing showers near the eastern ' ranqes.
