Army apology

The Army has apolo- . gised to Waiouru Army tenants who unnecessarily received letters telling them to tidy up their sections. "The intention was for one or two people to be reminded that their sections weren't up to scratch," said Col Bestic. He said there was "a certain amount of enthusiasm on the part of the staff" in distributing the letters. "For those that we did manage to upset we apologize," said Col Bestic. He said the incident was followed by a letter from a passerby praising Waiouru for the standard of its sections.
