Geographic is sold out
The first issue of New Zealand Geographic, the quarterly geographical journal, has sold out and may be reprinted next month. More than 25,000 copies were printed for the first issue - sufficient, it was thought, to cover the January to March period but demand following the pre-Christmas launch outstripped supply and distributor Beckett
Sterling has received many requests for additional copies. Publisher John Woods says more than 6000 annual subscriptions have been sold and they are still coming in at a healthy rate. "The response to the magazine has been excellent throughout New Zealand and we are seriously considering a reprint."
