Sir James Henare is welcomed onto the Maungarongo Marae Wednesday last week, to take part in the marae's Te Kohanga Reo end of year celebrations. Sir James was involved with the establishment of the kohanga reo network and the Maungarongo Marae nest was one of the first to be set up.
