Champs play bowls
Ohakune Women' s Bowling club players are busy playing their Champion of Championship games at present. Two finals already won are the senior singles, won by Audrey Nation, and the A Pairs, won by Vi Brown and Bernice Cochran. B Pairs and intermediate singles and open singles are still being played. The winners of these iinals play in | Wanganui in February ' in the Champion o f Champions games. ; On January 5 a club | tournament is to be held which will be isponsored b y i Rothmans. [ Anyone intersted in jirying bowls can join I in on Thursday lifternoons and I Saturdays.
