Tournament for bridge
Ohakune Bridge Club celebrated the end o f the year by holding a friendly afternoon tournament at the Hobbit last Saturday. The winners of the day were:lst: Brian Eades and Ron Frew, 2nd: Tracy Ennis and Les Burn, 3rd: Prue Crisp and Lyn
Brennigan. A very pleasant dinner was served to finish off the day. Some members, travelled to Taihape the following day to join with the Taihape Bridge Club in their end of year tournement. The Ohakune players were very successful once agian. All top
placing were Ohakune players. lst: Brian Eades and Ron Frew, 2nd: Tracy Ennis and Les Burn, 3rd: Jerry Cranston and Ron Martin. "After results like that Taihape may never invite Ohakune to join them again," said one of the Ohakune players.
