I shivered when I witnessed the grand sight of the horrific Super Space Rollercoaster. I moaned and said to myself, "Great, the first time I have ever had a chance to go on a rollercoaster and it has to be the biggest most frightening in the world!".
I sighed as Dad paid for the tickets and we clambered into the carriage that awaited us. I felt funny, as the carriage slowly climbed up to the top of the first drop. I closed my eyes as we approached the drop. Suddenly wind gushed over my face. I felt my stomaeh go upside down. I screamed, nearly choking on my bubble gum. When I opened my eyes, they nearly popped out of their sockets. In front of us lay a huge corkscrew then a spectacular drop and to follow that, was an upside down loop and many zig zags, sharp turns and side on spirals.
I tapped Dad's arm and said, "Dad look in front of us". But he had already seen. All h e said was "Hang on tight dear, this is going to be the big one!". Someone screamed as we entered the corkscrew. The rest was a blur of tracks, heads and noises. Suddenly we came to a stand still. I stayed put for a while not knowing where w e were. Then I felt the safety bar release its grip on me. I knew we must be at the finish. I hobbled out, not being able to walk properly. We had to find a table to sit down at for a
while. "How did you like that?", Dad asked. "All right, I suppose". "Great, that means we don't have to go to anymore fun parks, just so you can have a ride on a rollercoaster." "No, it does not mean that at all. What it means, is I want to go on it again." "What?!. you're kidding aren't you?". "No I am not", I replied sharply. "In fact, I dare you to go on again with me." "Well I am not going to be out dared by my daughter, so I accept your dare." "Okay then, come on." We marched over to the ticket booth so w e could experience the living nightmare again!
