Waimarino Acclimatisation Society members organised a children's fishing day recently as part of the month-long "Take a Kid Fishing" national campaign. They roped in help form all quarters who took children onto Ohakune Lakes Reserve lake for a chance to hook and land one of the hundreds of trout released there.
