Mr and Mrs Watson of Tyne Street, Ohakune describes the power station flume that used to run through what is now their garden to power board officer Bruce Thompson. Mrs Watson said the bridge at the end of their garden is part of the old flume and that she used to grow orchids in another part of it before it was dismantled.
