Waimarino collectors for the New Zealand Crippled Children Society have expressed their gratitude to the Waimarino people who gave generously during their recent collection. During the week of November 22 to 2 6 volunteers collected $1017, with one local lad collecting $59 in Rangataua. The Scouts, Cubs and Turoa Tumblers collected $533.58 from Ohakune and committee collected $425 from Raetihi, including $66 from Rotary. Society secretary also extends thanks to the people who helped in the collection. She would also like to remind people that the fund-raising coupon on Purex toilet ro 11s can be sent to the local primary schools for collection.
