Joggers club for Ohakune

Two Ohakune runners Katherine Craig and Hugh Gerraghty are aiming to form a jogging club, to promote fitness through the summer. The aim of the club is to cater for people of a wide range of fitness. The already-fit can run 12km, for example, while the less fit may wish to run 58km. First timers might start with just 2km. Hugh Gerraghty says his personal aim is to run a marathon and by running with other s through the j o g g i n g club hopes to gain experience. Children are welcome to join the joggers' club if accompanied by an adult. The group meets at Christie P a r k , Goldfinch Street on Wednesday nights at 5.45pm.
