Situation : Anticyclones should dominate over New Zealand all week. However a cold front is expected to reach the south of the South Island Monday night. This will give a southerly change and a few showers to eastern areas on Tuesday. Another weak southerly change is expected on Thursday. Forecast: Monday and Tuesday fresh westerlies, cloudy periods with a few drizzle patches . Fine from Wednesday with variable winds.
