LETTER TAKES FAST TRIP
A Bulletin reader tells of a lctter that travelled Fast Post to a far flung outpost. He reports that he sent a cheque to a Hamilton firm on September 28 and sent it by New Zcaland Post's much (self) acclaimed, and much (other people) criticised "Fast Post". The letter did reach its address, but not with speed - it first went to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Though it may have completed its overseas jaunt relatively quickly (and cheaply - just 7 0 cents). Our reader assures us he did not even hint at an overseas destination for the letter and also informs us that a duplicate cheque did reach the right "post" in time to satisfy the Hamilton (somewhere north of Bluff and south of Kaitaia) firm.
