The annual 36 Hole Waimarino Golf Club Tourney was held in weather conditions which were not the best. This event, held on Sunday October 16, was once again generously sponsored by the Karioi Grain Co., and Elders Pastoral. There were some ex-

Visiting players from Palmerston North, Wanganui, Taihape and Waiouru appreciated the excellent condition of the course. The next major event is the popular 36 Hole Mixed 4/somes on November 6. Already there are entries from as far afield as Foxton.
