The title of the bylaw is the Waimarino District Council Building Bylaw 1988. It is to come into force on such date as the Ministers of Local Government and Energy shall endorse their consent after the November meeting of the Council. The bylaw consists of the following New Zealand Standards: NZS 1900 Model Building Bylaw: Chapter 1 : 1985 Preliminary Chapter 2: 1984 Building permits Chapter 3: 1985 General requirements Chapter 4: 1985 Residential buildings Chapter 5: 1988 Fire resisiting construction and means of egress Chapter 6: 1986 Construction requirements for buildings not requiring specific design Chapter 7: 1985 Small chimneys and appliance installation Chapter 8: 1976 General structural design and design loading Chapter 9: 1985 Design and construction Chapter 1 0: 1964 Non-structural external wallings Chapter 1 1 : Special structures Division 11.1 :1986 Structures for the storage of liquids Division 1 1.2:1985 Farm buildings Standard incorporated by reference: NZS 4561 :1973 Manual fire alarm systems for use in buildings The resolution will be submitted for confirmation to an ordinary meeting of the Waimarino District Council to be held at the Council Chambers, 15 Miro Street, Ohakune on Wednesday, November 23, 1988 at 7.30pm.
