RAETIHI SWIMMING BATHS UPGRADED SOON
The Raetihi baths are to be upgraded in time for this year's swimming season. Councillor Bruce Thompson asked whether this would be the case at a special meeting of the Waimarino District Council October 14. The meeting was called to consider a resolution to raise a loan for $35,000 to upgrade the Raetihi Swimming Baths by special order. The resolution was passed and means all the 'pipes, pumps and tanks at the baths will be reDlaced for this comine swimming season.
