Situation: A strong westerly or north westerly flow is expected over New Zealand until Wednesday, a cold front should cross most of New Zealand on T uesday. A depression is expected to develop in the Tasman Sea on Thursday and move on to the North Island on Friday. Forecast: Rain deveioping on Tuesday and north westerly winds becoming strong. Westerly winds and a few showers on Wednesday. Northerlies and widespread rain again from late Thursday or Friday.
