Profile Hair Design
Ever since Sarah Littlewood could xeach the handbasin she has wanted to be a hairdresser. Sarah's training includes six months work in Palmerston North, followed by a three and a half year apprenticeship in Wanganui, and work in a salon in Perth, Western Australia. "I was on holiday in Perth and went to get my hair done and ended up working for them," said Sarah.
In the first part of 1987 she worked in a Raetihi salon. She took over the Ohakune salon, formerly "The Cut Above" from Trinette Mott at the beginning of this year. "I am really glad to be back hairdressing, I love it," she said. Her apprenticeship was in men's hairdressing, so with her expertise in women's hair styling her salon is a true unisex salon.
