Waimarino urban rubbish tenders received

The tenders for the control of the Raetihi and Ohakune rubbish dumps and collection of Raetihi and -Ohakune rubbish were opened Thursday morning last week. The successful tenders will be decided at the next full council meeting on Wednesday October 26. The District engineer Mr Don Sattler suggested that there may have been some confusion over the time span for the work, which is

to cover 16 months. He said one section of the tender document may

have led people to believe the period was 12 months.
