APPEAL SUCCESSFUL
Ruapehu Scouts and Cubs blanketed the townships of Ohakune and Raetihi on Tuesday evening last week collecting donations for the annual Arthritis and Rheumatism Appeal. Officials say the youngsters began at 6pm and, in some instances, were still collecting in areas at 8pm. Around $475 was collected in Ohakune with just under half that amount in Raetihi.
