Raetihi support needed

More support is needed from the community for Raetihi Playcentre, according to officials. Retiring president Marie Scarrow appealed to parents at the recent Annual General Meeting to support the centre at meetings and to share in activities. The centre has enjoyed a productive year, with a new concrete floor of the extension to the existing hall being layed and

framework for the building erected. The roll of the Raetihi Playcentre has remained healthy throughout the year, averaging at 20 children, aged between two and a half and five. Still a number of activities remain on the calendar for the year, with the Ruapheu Annual General Meeting today, a workshop for office holders at Taihape at the end of the month, and early next year, a Human Development Course.
