Raetihi's Brad McCoubrie has been selected for the North Island Under 16's representative team, to play the South Island on September 17. From that game will be selected the under 17's team for 1989. Brad was selected after captaining the Hawkes Bay Under 16's team in the Southern North Island zone's recent tournament in Wanganui. He is a fifth former at Lindisfarne High School in Hawkes Bay.
