OVERNIGHT CAR THEFTS
Ohakune Police are investigating three separate incidents of theft from vehicles parked overnight in the township. Sergeant Russell England says the total amount of property stolen from vehicles is estimated at around $1500. Two cars entered were parked outside the Youth Hostel in Clyde Street with the third in the carpark of the Ohakune Hotel. All the vehicles were left locked and were apparently locked when their owners discovered the missing property.
