Australian nurse at home in Waiouru
A face that will become familiar to new and expectant mothers in the Waimarino is Sue Toth, a part-time general nurse a t Waiouru Maternity Annexe. Sue, originally from Brisbane, is in Waiouru until December while her Fiance completes an Officer Cadet training course at Army Training Group. She began work this
week and will be working part-time, two nights a week at the annexe. This is her first trip to New Zealand and she and her Fiance Andrew intend to see some of the South Island before they return to Australia at the end of the year. Sue qualified as a general nurse at the beginning of the year and intends to get more
experience at the Royal Brisbane Hospital upon her return. The annexe also has a new midwife, Jeanette Brosnan, who commenced duties last week. From Singapore, she will be at the annexe during weekends.
