Entertainer Programme Whilst delighting in Taihape's finest art and craft works, the onlooker will have the opportunity from Ilam onwards to view a touch of Taihape talent. A number of performances will be shown from the town hall stage - approximate times are as follows: Ilam: Dance items by students of Julie Mickleson's school of
dance. 11.20am: Items from the Taihape Primary School choir. 11.40am: Dances by students of the Joy Wilson school of dance. Noon: Piano solos from talented Taihape college student Rexina Smith. 12.20pm: Demonstrations from the Taihape Zen Do Kai Club. 12.40pm: A routine from members of Taihape's Aerobics Club.
1.00pm: A collection of songs from the ever-pop-ular and w e 1 1 known Arcadian Choir, with conductor Helen Gordon. 1.20pm: A demonstration on Chinese cooking by an experienced local resident - Phillip Wong. 2pm: A parade where competitors will display their knitted or sewn items entered in the "knit or sew and show" contest. Shops will be open this Saturday for both the convenience of Feilding people and local s alive. Taihape's Spring Fling day will be covered by 92.2 XSFM announcer Robert Scott, who will arrive in Taihape with those on the train from Feilding. Don't miss it - this Saturday is a day to be enjoyed by all.
