K2 skis given away
For winning the recent unisex wet T shirt competition held at Hot Lava, "Lisa" from Auckland was awarded a pair of K2 TRC Soft Slalom skis.The prize is valued at $536. Hot Lava proprietor Paul Beckett said initially there were allegations of sexism but the competition's scope was extended to take in male entrants. One male entrant made it to the final but was disqulified for removing his trousers. From the K2/Powderhorn Ski Bahn promotion in conjunction with Midge Marsden and the Giant Killers, also at Hot Lava, "Dave" from Wellington won a pair of K2 KVC slalom skis valued at $633. Other prizes given away were two K2 ski poles, two K2 day packs, and two K2 ski bags.
