RAL runs Whakapapa souvenir shop
RAL has taken over the Chalet Souvenir Shop at The Top O' The Bruce. They've brightened it up and added many new lines. In addition to a range of sweatshirts, the shop sells film, sunglasses, hats, suntan lotion, lip screen, gloves, lightweight packs, head bands, hats and skivvies. RAL courtesy coach As well as adding a further 230 carparks this year, RAL has purchased a 4.W.D. courtesy coach to carry skiers from the bottom carparks. The coach will run continuously around the Loop Road when the bottom carparks are full or the loop road i s closed to cars because of ice. Midweek Apres Ski teams events at the Tavern for '88 are: August 17 Turtle Toboggan Races, August 24 Indoor Ski Races, August 31 The Wall, September 7 Tug O War, September 14 Scooter Races, September 21 Turtle Toboggan Races, September 2 8 Indoor Ski Races, October 5 Tug O War.
