From page 2 month to discuss the impending Local Government Reorganisation, to formulate a submission to the Local Government Commission. Negotiations among the three authorities is continuing but the M a r ton B o r o u g h Council and the Taihape Borough Council have agreed to several of the Rangitikei County Council' s amalgamation proposition points. They agreed that the district boundaries at Waiouru were acceptable.
