Digging for cold prizes at Turoa

Most competitions on the ski slopes call for the talents of the most agile or experienced skiers. But for at least part of the day at Turoa on

Saturday, August 6, all skiers will be well and truly equal - as they'll be burrowing into the snow rather than riding over it. The Great SKI-FM Movenpick Treasure

Hunt will see hundreds of pottles of the premium Swiss ice cream buried in the snow at a specially cordoned off area near the Movenpick mid-station. Participants in the

treasure hunt need only the ability to dig (gloves are recommended) to enter. Not only will finders get to eat the ice cream they unearth, but each buried pottle will con-

tain a prize. Coloured disks representing ski passes, a dinner for two or take home packs of Movenpick ice cream will be attached to each pottle for instant redemption. Movenpick product manager, Margaret Stapleton, says the treasure hunt is a family event that should add even more fun and excitement to a day on the snow.
