Human yo-yo returns

Top bungi jumper AJ. Hackett was in the Waimarino for a day recently to help open the new business, "New Sensations", at the Ohakune Junction. AJ. is well known both nationally and internationally as an acclaimed bungi-jumper and holds the world record for his recent jump from the Eiffel Tower.

He and New Sensations partner Chris Allum formed the company to cater for alternative sports such as bungi-jumping, monoskiing, snow boarding and parapenting. He left New Zealand for Paris last week and will be back in Ohakune at the end of August to co-run a bungi-jumping stress management course.
