NEW ZEALAND'S SKIERS TUROA TRAINED
New Zealand's top male skiers who will be competing in the BP Europa FIS Series next week have been training at Turoa since last month. Simon Wi Rutene, Chris Mosaed, Mattias Hubrich and coach Sepp Brunner have been taking advantage of fast conditions at Turoa to gear themselves up for the series. Simon Wi Rutene (Rotorua) has been placed in a category of his own in the New Zealand squad, called the National World Cup Team. He now has automatic entry into any World Cup event as far as the New Zealand Ski Association is concerned. National A Team men are Bruce Grant (Queenstown), Mattias Hubrich (Ohakune), Chris Mosaed (Raetihi).
