Cat's Away singer in Ohakune
Singer Dianne Swann, from ' When The Cat's Away' plays Hot Lava this week. She is fresh back in NZ from an Australian tour. When The Cat's Away is an all women band famous for their renditions of old N Z
favourites from the likes of Split Enz and Mi Sex. Backing Dianne Swann at Hot Lava will be Silver Service who also provide the backing for When The Cat's Away. Other members of the singing group are spread far and wide. The singers featured
on a Radio with Pictures special last year. Hot Lava proprietor Paul Beckett said the performance will be the first big band to play the nightclub for the 1988 season. He promises a full sound systcm and stage lights to match.
