Variety song show rehearsals under way
Rehearsals are well underway for the Arcadian Singers Variety 88. The show will b e staged in both Taihape and Ohakune and promises to be a night of fun and entertainment for all. Most of the approximately 30 performers in the show are from Taihape with four singers from Ohakune and one from Raetihi. The show will feature both choir and individual items, excerpts from "Porgy and Bess", a melodrama by Taihape Drama Club, items by local dancers, and many well k n o w n favourite songs. Variety 88 is produced by Heather Williams with choir director Helen Gordon. Variety 88 will be on show in the Taihape Town Hall August 12 and 13 and at the Ruapehu College Hall on Saturday August 20.
