Core group for Waiouru

A newly constituted resource 'core group' is looking for permanent offices in Waiouru. The group presented a proposal to the Waiouru Community Advisory Committee at their monthly meeting last week, for offices in the community centre. The group will operate as a support and advice service for new residents to Waiouru.

It is hoped that the group will begin to function by the beginning of August. Waiouru residents are urged to attend meetings which only have a small turnout of public, Community Advisory Committee meetings are an opportunity for residents to voice an opinion and stay in touch with community happenings.
