KIDSTUFF

One day I was walking to school and I* found myself in a big hole. I was unhurt. It was a long way to the top. I started to feel around the wall. Then I found myself walking along a long thin tunnel. It seemed like an hour had gone past when I got to the other end. At the other end there was a forest. i started to walk through the forest. I came to a house. The house was

very old. It had a fallen down chimney. I knocked and walked in. Inside it was very dusty and untidy. I looked around, opening cupboards and drawers. .In one I found some papers. The papers were very old. One had a picture of an island. I read the words beside the picture and I found it was a picture of a treasure map! I found

another treasure map. This map said there was treasure nearby. I took the treasure map and it said to go up the nearest big hill. I saw a big hill nearby. I started to climb it. I was by myself on a wet day. I heard a knock on the door. I looked out of the window. Do you know no one was there? I was scared. I tried to ring Mum but the phone was not working. I heard something crash. I went to see what it was. It was Mum's best bowl. I walked around the house to see if anyone was there. I saw a man. I screamed. Mrs Sexton and Nataila came over. I went outside. I said "There is a man in the house." Mrs Sexton said "Sit down and watch TV with Nataila for a while." She went inside. Nataila and I heard something smash. We went to see what it was. It was a glass. I said "Nataila?" But she was not there. I said

"Nataila, where are you?" She was not any where. I ran to Mrs Sexton's house and Nataila was there. Mum came home. I said "Mum, there is a man in the house." Mum said "That was the phone man." I said "I thought it was a bad man." Mum and I went home and then we went out for tea. By Rebecca Hughes One day I was walking to school and I heard a weird noise. I looked up and saw my rubber. It flew away over the trees at the end of the field. I had another rubber at school but I was puzzled by the way it disappeared. I went the rest of the way to school but I was still puzzled. Why would a rubber fly and how? At lunchtime, I went to get my lunchbox but there in my lunchbox was my disappearing rubber! I locked it in my pencilcase so it could not get away again but, in the morning it was

gone again! When I found it again (behind my books), I gave it to my friend. Now she's lost it! By Heather Ashcroft. One day my Mum and Dad had gone out for the day. It was a disaster. It looked like my little sister's were trying to strangle the dog. I went up to them and said "Don't strangle the dog." They said "We're not, we're just hugging him." I went into my older brother's room. You will never guess what he was doing. He was blowing bubble gum everywhere - all over the walls. I walked out and bubblegum was on my feet. I quickly got out of there. I went into my little brother's room. He was playing smash ups and G.I. Joes. He was making big dents in the wall with his smash ups. I said "what are you doing?" He got smart. Suddenly Mum and Dad came home. They sorted it out pronto!
