Pipiriki sewage scheme worries settled
Fears that the Pipiriki sewage scheme would not be able to cope with new developments planned have been allayed. Councillor Ken Summerhays reported at a recent council meeting that staff and council - lors had met with Pipiriki Incorporation Tepresentatives and assured them that the scheme would cope with the developments planned. Councillor Trebilcock said the representatives also asked who was to pay for the connections from properties to the lines. He said they were under the impression it was in the cost of the scheme. Mayor Garrick Workman called for works engineer Don Sattler to see if there was enough money allocated for the conections.
