Knocker offer
I read with interest "Bom Again Heathen's" letter in the Bulletin, June 14. I too have a busy lifestyle and I can understand your feelings of frustration at the times used on unwanted interruptions. You letter was a reminder to me - a "bornagain Christian" - of what I ought to be doing. I have never been a "door-knocker" but I would love to help you mow the lawns, weed the garden, do the vacuuming and dusting if
that would be an effective way of communicating God's love to you. I have several friends that are willing to help also - not because we are "calling out for a heathen friend" but because we want people to know about our loving, caring God. And you are right. The best way of showing that is in practical ways. So, please, if you are serious about your suggestions, phone me at 54-825 and I'll arrange it for you.
