Team search at Karioi

Waimarino Search and Rescue members and local police joined forces in a mock search at the weekend. Although only an exercise, searchers and search co-ordinators conducted the rescue of two local hunters on Saturday, in deadly eamest, as practice for a real event. The rescue was an exercise in familiarising individuals with their roles in real-life rescues and was also practice for the men at working in teams.
