Results of play from Sunday June 12. The day's sponsors were Waimarino Electrical Ltd and Security and General Insurance Co. The main event was the Kennedy Cup, town vs country teams event and it was won by the country team. The haggle senior division was won by Gary Allerby with the roarer's mug on a 63 nett, second P. Goldfinch on 64 nett, K. Summerhays 6 5 nett, J. Summerhays 70 and T. Tapp 70 nett. Junior division was
won by Betty Berridge 68 nett on a countback with Norma Cranston 68 nett, then Colin Allerby with 70 nett, C. Turner 71 nett, A. Robinson 73 nett, R . Goile 75 nett. Two's were won by Colin Allerby, P. Goldfinch and M. Kennedy. Colin Allerby also won the junior bird's nest. The club's Pennant team will be playing at Ruapehu next Sunday June 19 and the team is - G. Allerby, J. Summerhays, J. Ennis, T. Tapp, N. Cranston, P. Goldfinch with G. Imhoff reserve.
