Ohakune Fire Chief Max Martin was awarded his lifetime membership to the Ohakune Fire Brigade at a special function held at the station last week. The meeting was attended by members of the brigade and their wives. Other members to be awarded long service bars were John Nation (41 years) and Steve Nation (7 years). Mr Martin is pictured receiving his award from Deputy Fire Chief Ben Goddard.
