Anglican News Services for Sunday are as follows: SUNDAY, MAY 22nd: PENTICOST - STEWARDSffiP SUNDAY RAETIHI: (St. Mary's Church) 9.30am Holy Communion (1984 Rite). OHAKUNE: (St. John's Church) 11.00am Holy Communion (1984 Rite). Time did not permit a report of the service & Parishioners Meeting held in St. John's Church, Ohakune on May 8 to be prepared for the last Bulletin. During the service, a special presentation of a silver tray was made to Mr Basil Ward for his more than 30 years of service to the parish as Treasurer, Vestryman, Synodsman and ParishNominator. Mr Ward spoke in response, thanking parishioners for their thoughtful rememberance of that service. After a lengthy & detailed discussion of the Parishioners Meeting approved a resolution affirming the present service schedule which is to remain in place for six months at which time it will be reviewed and there will be another Parishioner meeting called. Captain Peter Allfrey's Report was received by members of the Mission Committee and other parishioners present at a meeting that evening at the home of Ian & Elizabeth Penny. A number of recommendations were put forward in that rep>ort, and these will examined further by the committee. See you in Church BOB PECK VICAR
