C/- Ohakune School, Arawa Street, Ohakune. Open: Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.15pm. Contact person: Mrs Kate Lourie 58-388 or 59-134 after hours. Cost: Free. Enrol: Visit the clinic from two years upwards. Aims: To encourage pre-school children to regard the Dental Nurse as their friend and the visit something to look forward to. To advise mothers in diet control and sugar frequency to ensure their children are kept free from dental decay. To encourage the use of fluoride tablets and fluoride toothpaste to promote strong healthy teeth.
