NO PARTY AFTER HOURS
Bulletin staff went home early last Thursday, depriving publisher John Woods the opportunity to shout them a Champagne Breakfast. Belinda, Dellyn, Robert, Rita and John finished working on the Pre-ski season publication Ruapehu '88, a 48 page colour tabloid magazine, at 6.55am. No they didn't start early in the morning. Production started 8.00am Wednesday morning and went on right through the night. It wasn't over then for Rita though. She 'volunteered' to drive the artwork to Taumarunui, catch a plane from there to Warkworth to get to the printers by the deadline so the magazine could be released at the Auckland Snow Show on the weekend. Thanks to a massive effort by the printers as well the magazine made it to the show on time.
