Results of play on Sunday May 8. The sponsor for the day was Covers Upholstery of Ohakune. A number of matches were played during the weekend, with all members urged to play their respective matches to compete this first vital round of play. The top scorer of the day was Ross Brown with a gross score of 77/ stableford 44 points. He also won the Roarer's Mug. Next senior was A. Berridge 39 points. Third was Neil

Cranston with 37. Top Junior scorer was John Kennedy 38; 2nd N. Leitz 36; 3rd Ali Robinson 34. The 72-hole Men's Matchplay Tournament is on May 21 and 22. All players are urged to participate in this golfing experience. The Pennants team play at Taihape on Sunday May 15 and would much appreciate caddies for the day. Players are T. Tapp, J. Summerhays, G. Allerby, J. Ennis, N. Cranston and G. Imhoff with reserve player S. Magee.
